Angelina Jolie in Elie Saab (Sarajevo Film Festival)

I was browsing through pictures and found Angelina Jolie in this beautiful Elie Saab spring/summer 2011 dress, and it is absolutely beautiful.  Angelina Jolie dresses in a way that perfectly compliments her figure and style, and this dress is great on her.  The color, the shape, and styling is all so perfect.

I love the belt on this dress better than the original.

Christopher Kane Resort 2012 (Neon)

At first I was wondering if I really liked this line or not.  Then after I kept looking at it and seeing it on blogs, I think I like it now.  I feel like it is something new and fresh that many designers have not done before, yet let me ponder some more and I will get back to you.  For now, I am curious of what others think.  Let me know and leave a comment!

Ryan Gosling Has Got Style

I guess you already get the point of the post by the title, and frankly who can argue with that.  Ryan Gosling has a simple clean style that girls absolutely love; seriously google it, the blog post about him are hilarious.  He is clean cut, yet has a bit of bad boy to him (that the girls love even more).  He also has the best fitting suits ever.  I love when guys can find a suit that fits in the shoulders; it is sad to see so many men who buy suits that are to large in shoulders and sides leaving them with absolutely no shape.  Yes, men need shape too, believe it or not.  Even his relaxed look is great with his simple tanks and t-shirts that fit great and go with his style.  He knows what he likes to wear and does it very well!
-Gucci suit, that has a great pattern, color and fit.
-A simple Ferragamo outfit (head-to-toe) was a great choice for the tropical location of  the Cannes Film Festival.
-Once again a great fitting suit by Ferragamo.
-I had to add this picture because it makes me laugh. I also like both of their outfits and Al's argyle socks.
-Ryan and best friend George (dog) are simple and stylish.

Style Stalker

I truly do love fashion, which I know I say all of the time; so much in fact that it is getting obnoxious.  I also enjoy finding new designers, blogs or fashion websites to explore.  A little bit ago I found a girl wearing a dress on lookbook and had to read her description to see who made the dress.  I found a few fabulous pieces on a site called stylestalker.com.  I liked how their clothes are in style, yet they are different in a good way.  Though one downfall is you have to be tall and skinny to make them look flattering, and they are not necessarily cheap, but they are still beautiful.  Here are some of my favorites.
This first blue dress is the one I saw on lookbook.  I like the abstract design that it has, though the way that the top part is sewn to the skirt is a bit odd.  What do you think of it?
I love this one below, I think it is very romantic and just pretty.
I really like the sheer tops that are longer, like this one below.

Baja Jacket Trend

I fell in love with the baja trend ever since I first saw Pineapple Express, when James Franco sports one around for a bit.  He also has baja styled pants that he wears the entire movie which are quite cool too.  Though through high school, many people associate the baja jacket with those who do drugs, but that is quickly changing.   I for one am happy, as I have always liked this trend and have wanted to wear it without being associated druggies, if you will.  Thank you to some very popular designers who have revamped the look for the better.  Here is a great article at nylonmag.com.  I picked my favorites out of the bunch.

Swatch X and Kid Robot

I honestly have never heard of Swatch X or Kid Robot, but found these awesome watches that they have created.  These designs came from several different artists and are cute and creative.  The watches will hit stores September 1st, and that is about all the information I can find.  I will keep everyone updated if I see more about them.

Fashion, Art, Wedding stuff and a French Film for my Sunday Night

Sunday afternoons after a long day at work, I want to do nothing but relax.  To relax I love reading articles, finding art and fashion websites, or even short films.  I found some great sites that I think many of my readers may enjoy as much as I have.  There is nothing like getting inspiration, what a great feeling.

-This first site is by Claire Oring who travels, takes photographs, and makes awesome illustrations.  Her site is quite fun to explore and her photographs are stunning.
-She also has a really great interview on the Urban Outfitters blog

-Here is a wedding website.  I first saw pictures on Urban Outfitters and began to look at it for ideas for my sisters wedding.  The pictures are beautiful, and even if you are not married, or already married it is still fun to look at.

-A great late night black & white French movie filled with 1960's fashion!  Heck Yes!  I found this movie on hulu, and on Nylon magazines website called Breathless.  Though I have not watched it all just yet I am planning on finishing it tonight.  I love the fashion so far.

Sonia Rykiel Spring 2011 make-up and frizzy hair

I know this is a similar post to yesterdays, but today I included make-up.  I realized that in yesterdays photos I really liked the bronze and orange type eyeshadow.  Orange does not look very good on me so I opted for more of a bronze, gold and brown colors.  I used eyeshadow color stay from Revlon, and also used the YDK and Half Baked from my Urban Decay palette.  My lip color is from NYX, who have the best products for really cheap.  I love their lipsticks, pencils and jumbo pencils they are a great investment and your lips will love them too!
ColorStay Revlon
-This palette that I used is called Midnight Garnet
 Urban Decay Palette
-I used the top left, YDK and bottom right, Half Baked

I was unable to find a picture of the NYX lipstick that I used but it is called Chaos #724.

I had to take this picture on my mac, because nothing on my camera came out very good.  My eyeshadow does actually match the picture pretty good though it is hard to tell.

Dog Days of Summer (Frizzy Hair Sonia Rykiel)

Like I have said in my last few post, it is stinking hot out.  That means lots of heat, sweat, frizzy hair and my little dog drinks a lot of water and lays under the couch where it is cool.  Believe me if I could fit under the couch I would be right next to her, (it truly is cool under there).  Anyway, today I let my hair frizz.  I have naturally curly hair but in this heat, I have naturally frizzy hair.  I have to say I kind of like the frizzy hair style that I have seen on the runway; I do not have to dry my hair or anything, low maintenance is the name of the game!  These pictures were taken on the floor in the most shady room in my house.  Sophie just wanted to be pet for a while, now she is back to sleeping.  She has quite the busy schedule. (Yes, that is sarcastic.)
(These Pictures were taken on my Mac, hence the blur)

Kimono (Topshop, Forever 21, Zara, and Urban Outfitters)

Yesterday I went shopping at Forever 21.  When looking through all of the racks and racks and more rows and rows of clothing, I happened upon a light pink kimono.  I absolutely love this piece, though I did not buy it for the $30.00, I instead bought one pair of pants, a pair of shorts, a tank top and a new shirt for $40.00.  Now, I cannot help but keep thinking about that little kimono.  I love anything made of a chiffon fabric, that has a nice flow to it.  Considering we are experiencing quite the heat wave where I live, I love any piece of clothing that will move and let air flow through the clothing.  Today I had to do some research as I keep seeing more and more kimonos pop up on fashion blogs and websites.  I found that several stores are selling kimono tops, some are a little more costly than the others but I think it is a great purchase.  If you like Topshop, Forever 21, Zara and Urban Outfitters than you are in luck to purchase your very own kimono.
