Chloe Sevigny Mary Janes

I know, I know, another post about shoes, but I love shoes.  I use love to much too, but I cannot think of another word to use, so if you have one feel free to share.  Chloe Sevigny has created the most adorable little pair of mary janes with those ever popular wooden heals.  They have cute little bows on the top of the shoe and come in brown, black.  I think they are so chic, easy to pair with any style, and would be a great addition to any girls closet.  These shoes have been seen on the very fashionable feet of Andy Torres of stylescrapbook.com (scroll down to the bottom pictures, she has a black pair), Erika Marie of fashionchalet.net (the leather shorts are great too), (starlet) Emily Browning, and even Chloe Sevigny herself (of course she has to advertise her own shoes).

The only bad part about these babies is the hefty price tag that comes with the adorableness (did not know that was a word, but it is in the dictionary).  If you want them, you could have got them from mytheresa.com which was the cheapest at $305.  Other than that there is a large range of prices, anywhere from $305-$650.

Glastonbury 2011 Fashion

One of my dreams in life is to go to a really big music festival, my choice would have to be Glastonbury in London.  I love the mud and music that Glastonbury offers.  I also am one to enjoy those fabulous little "wellies" that are on so many Glastonbury fashionistas feet.

Urban Outfitters Biggest Sale Ever

Last night I opened my e-mail to see "BIGGEST SALE EVER," and as a bargain shopper, I just about had a heart attack.  Though I am trying to save money for the up and coming school year and my sisters wedding, I still had to go and see what I was missing.  I began by perusing through the items in the store that were not on sale and made my way to the back right where the items were on sale.  There were several racks in a row beggining with a sign that said "29.99 or less."  I was surprised and delighted to see that several of the items were in fact much less than the advertised "29.99."  I had to keep reminding myself that I was not going to spend anything, that is until I found the rack labeled "4.99."  I tried to contain my excitement, but let out a louder than planned "Hell Yeah!"  I looked around quickly after to see that no one had heard me lose my cool for a moment.  I love v-necks and the "4.99" rack was full of them and in more than 10 colors.  True to my style I bought a gray one.  V-necks are so easy to dress up and down, I would definitly consider them a staple in my closet.  Seriously though, best and biggest sale, and definitly worth the visit.  I found several other items that have seriously depreciated in price, but not style!  Here are some great finds.
Remember this fabulous dress that was $50 (now $29.99) inspired by Marc Jacobs spring 2011?

I have always wanted a pair of Jeffrey Cambell shoes and one day in my life I will own a pair.
This pair was 50% off meaning they were only about $55, because they were a size 9 and the last pair.  This has been the only time in life I have wanted bigger feet.
$14.99 shoes

$9.99 t-shirts

$19.99

Have fun shopping and let me know if you find anything great, (which you will.)

Koshka

After work today, I just have been in a weird mood, and enjoying peace and quite.  I found myself searching different blogs, watching previews, looking at art, reading articles about random things; in other words I guess that is just surfing the internet.  My last stop took me to look book, and caused me to click on a link on the side, Koshka to be exact.  I visited the site a few times before, but found two items that I think are so cute.  I thought I would share those pieces with you and give a link to their site.
The website is shopkoshka.com
I love both of these pieces!

Hailee Steinfeld for Miu Miu

I highly enjoy ad campaigns.  I do not know if others enjoy it as much as I do, but they are always an interesting, artistic approach to presenting a fashion line.  This season, a very lucky 14 year old is the artistic muse for Miu Miu Prada.  I have only been able to find one picture, and I am hoping that there will be more.  The dress that she is wearing has the signature bird print, which I absolutely adore.  What do you think?  Want to see more?

Rosie Huntington-Whitley in Gucci

I found this dress when I was browsing people.com and am in love.  The shorts under the skirt is different but very chic.  That is about it.  Today I am just relaxing and enjoying a summer day.

Alexander McQueen Resort 2012

Alexander McQueen never disappoints.  I think that is hard statement to argue with, as the designer has passed, Sarah Burton being fashion director is an amazing fit to continue on McQueens legend.  Resort 2012 collection, is as always perfectly constructed, and fits every model like a glove.  Many of the outfits are in a khaki, or khaki green mixed with a very white lace, then changing to a black and golds for evening looks with a pink (stunning) dress mixed in.  I am personally a really big fan of the belts that were incorporated, they give the outfits with a romantic touch more of a utility style.  The evening wear in a line from McQueen is always my favorite, it is just always stunning and like I have already said, the construction is always perfection!

Seriously, look at that detail, this is why I LOVE McQUEEN!!!

Versace for H&M

Yes, you heard that correctly, I was in the same amount of shock!  Versace and H&M are pairing up to create a line of affordable Versace clothing line.  In the words of Donatella herself, it will contain "iconic Versace pieces," also saying that they will have "studs and prints, rock and roll."  When can we expect to see these fabulous pieces appear in stores, November 17th to be exact.  I know that these pieces will go fast and be very popular, remember how quickly all stores sold out of Lanvin and H&M pieces?  I am excited.  Here are some of the pieces that will be available.

Sketches

I am not the best sketcher to begin with, but still, I enjoy doing it just to make sure that I do not forget one of my many ideas.  These are two sketches that I made last night after playing for a bit with fabrics.  The first sketch is what I want to add to my maxi skirt.  I realized that it just does not look right, so I may just add a top and easily turn it into a maxi dress that is still stylish.  Though in my sketch it looks a little more evening, it is really made of all cotton.  The second is an idea that I really am not that sure about.  I have been really into the fitted corset tops, which are in style this season.  I have an old pair of jeans for the top that I was considering or something else completely, not sure yet.  The skirt is also a big maybe, as the fabric I want to use is actually an old button down top, that may not be enough fabric.  Still, what do you think?

Moschino Resort 2012

Brilliance whether in color or design, Moschino's Resort 2012 line definitely delivers.  The 1966 inspired looks are structured and chic.  Though the only complaint is the lack of evening wear, but the clothes were still beautiful and did not disappoint.
I love the glasses that many of the models wore.  This first outfit I think is adorable!

I love how this cardigan looks like it is backwards, it is so chic.

I love these dresses above and below, they have a bit of a rock and roll flair.
