-This is the back of the dress and not the fabric I am using. It is only muslin, a crappy fabric used to make patterns. The picture was taken on my very old phone, hence why it is so tiny.

Bow dress in the process...
The other night I stayed up so late and woke up incredibly to finish a ton of work for school. I seriously thought my head was going to explode from panic of realizing just how much had to be done in such a short amount of time. I really cannot wait for summer so I may have a break. Here is a picture of the muslin fitting of my dress. It is only in muslin and not the finished product. I will post more pictures of the construction process, hopefully tomorrow. I am quite tired for now, so nighty night to all!

Making of a Chanel Jacket
I love this video. I feel like this on my weekends, only a lot less glamorous. Still an interesting video. Also it makes me laugh how in the beginning when she is pulling out pins, she just tosses them. It is quite a toss and I feel bad for whoever tramps on them. I have been there done that.
All Denim Charlize Theron
I love this look it is so simple and relaxed. I never thought I would ever say that I like clothes from the 1990s, but yet I am obsessed with the grunge and denim clothing that I grew up wearing. Whenever I see all denim I think of the 90's. This is a lot classier though.

Blake Lively 1960's Inspired Glamour Shoot
This is old fashion news, but still definitely worth sharing. Blake Lively was featured in Glamour magazine this past July 2011. I love the photo shoot! She looks so gorgeous and of course those of you who know me, know I love the 1960s inspired look. I really like how a lot of polka dots were incorporated and are in style for those of us who shop at malls. In other words polka dots are just gaining popularity in mainstream fashion, or discount fashion stores and this also means they will most likely begin to fade out. I hope they don't though. I also love how they styled her hair, it is quite great. Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Making Patterns
First of all Happy Saint Patricks Day to all! I hope that everyone had a great and safe day. Today, instead of celebrating Saint Patty's Day, I spent my whole day making patterns at school. Believe it or not it was actually kind of fun. I got a lot of work done to help take some of the large amount of stress off. Yay. I also took lots of pictures to share the process. I was working on a pattern for a tier skirt and a pattern for a dress I am making, which is a large part of my grade. No pressure...right?
-Can I fit anymore pins in this pin cushion?
-The dressforms.
-Listening to the Strokes amongst several other bands.
-What a tier skirt looks like; this is my teachers example.
-Making the tier skirt pattern.
-Success all 12 pieces...COMPLETE!! :)
-The next project...in process.

My High Waisted Pants!
Wow, I miss posting everyday. My schedule recently has been crazy. Though, I am happy to say I have lots of things to post about, so I will be preparing several posts this weekend. You may also be happy to know that today I wore my high waisted pants. I absolutely love them and got several weird stares, but who cares. You will not be happy to know that my camera died so I have super crappy pictures from my mac. I also took them in my living room because the light outside made them really blurry. I will definitely take better pictures in the future. I am not a very good model either.
I think I may need to give my blog another make-over and get rid of the fall theme.

Elizabeth Olsen
Well, it is back to school. I know I keep saying I cannot wait for summer, but I really cannot wait for summer. I fell like I have so many ideas, I just need a few weeks to wake up, drink coffee and let my creative juices flow. For now, my time is filled with finishing projects and a very large mass of other work that needs to be done. I do feel more relaxed after a nice spring break, for sure. Anyway, today's post is all about Elizabeth Olsen. I do believe she is following in her stylish sisters footsteps as she continuously takes fashion risks and sets some trends!

Vintage Styled Bikini's from Anthropologie.com
I am aware it is only March and I am posting pictures of swimsuits. Though, hot weather is slowly creeping up on me; this Friday is supposed to be 80 degrees. I always get excited for summer because of the late nights, great swims, good tans, fun with friends and most of all time to enjoy life and work is also more fun in the summer. As another summer is approaching I find that I am still really into vintage swimwear. Who isn't? I get tired of the string bikinis that have no coverage or support, I guess that is the point of a string bikini though... Anyway, here are some classy bikinis from Anthropologie.com. They are super expensive, but I am beginning to think they are worth it.

H&M
Usually, I do not like H&M and cannot find anything. The other week I walked in H&M and found so many things to put on my clothing wish-list! I am thinking I need to make a shopping trip for sure. I find it funny that they never have too cute of clothes online, but always have cute things at the actual H&M store near me. Here are a few cute things I found on their website though upon a quick browse. Of course I love all of their sunglasses.
