Puddles and Price

I recently received the sweetest e-mail from the writers of the blog puddlesprice.com.  Sampson and Lorrie the creators of this site, are always creating something new and amazing.  I always need some creative inspiration and their blog is perfect for it!  They also have an etsy account (etsy.com/shop/puddlesprice), where they create needlework pieces, adorable little felt horses and my personal favorite, art prints.  I love fashion illustrations or art pieces and always love to post the new little illustrations that I find.  Sampson and Lorrie's art prints have an adorable vintage flair, my favorite of course.  They are simply precious and affordable.  I love how all of the pictures have a cute little animal in them, you have to love it!

My New Vintage Sterling Sewing Machine

Last night, I was so shocked when my sister and her husband told me to open my eyes to look at the fantastic present that was sitting in front of me for my birthday.  I did not know what to say.  I am just so excited and absolutely love this vintage sewing machine, which works and sews the straightest line you have ever seen.  Of course, within 10 minutes of receiving this gift I figured out how to thread it and kept sewing straight lines.  I am amazed at how great it works and the amazing condition it is in for how old it is.  I definitely will get plenty of use out of this amazing machine!

Repetto Boutique

Finally, my french class is beginning to pay off.  I found the most adorable pair of loafers, with beautiful detailing on them.  Normally, I am not the biggest fan of loafers, but these really would match any outfit.   I would love to wear them with high socks, rolled up skinny jeans and some adorable top to match.  Where does knowing french come into a cute pair of loafers?  Well, the site Repetto Boutique Paris is all in French.  Luckily, I was able to translate most of the sections on the site to find several cute pairs of shoes.  These loafers are my favorite!

I will have to post a little later today, as some of my post have decided to go crazy.  The sentences are literally blending together.  Hope everyone is having a great day so far.  I have two fun little posts coming up!

Elizabeth Banks in Bill Blass

Yes, I am jumping on the bandwagon and enjoying this skin-baring trend.  I really like how with this style, you can show some skin without be incredibly provocative.  Recently, I have been getting tired of all the low cut dresses with very large slits.  I think it is nice to see a conservative type dress that still has an edge.  Plus, Elizabeth Banks can do no wrong in the fashion world.  This gorgeous dress in by Bill Blass.

Emma Stone in Versace

Emma Stone can do no wrong, it seems.  I love this dress.  While Versace minis usually can look a little suggestive, this dress is perfectly styled to have just the perfect amount of edge.  She looks fantastic!

Fashion Illustrations

I am currently packing for a very quick little vacation.  Yes, I will be taking pictures and this time will share.  I miss making videos.  I am going to try and film more and make a interesting video hopefully.  Last time I took video it was the worst mix.  I hope I come up with something good.  All of you know probably how I love to feature cute little illustrations that I find.  This latest one is amazing.  These are actually three different artists.  Their works are all gorgeous.  I found them on .templatesfactory.net, the site has a short little bio about each of the illustrators.

Chloe Moretz in Calvin Klein

This dress is so simple and perfect.  I really like the basic color and basic cut, it still makes a big statement.  Chloe's style is always amazing!

1950's Styled Dresses

I have been in quite obsessed with the 1950's style recently.  I love the cat eye glasses, and big dresses.  I found an etsy account today that is dedicated to this fabulous style of dress.  They are so adorable, I may have to make one for myself.  Here is the link... etsy.com.  Absolutely gorgeous!

Photo Shoot with my Dad

The other day I mentioned I needed a new picture for my blog and had a small photo shoot, with the help of my Dad.  I think it was a great time to bond together, not to mention normally I have to attempt to take my own pictures.  I figured I would share some of the other pictures.
