A Year In Review (My First Year Anniversary)

I can not believe that I have been blogging for one year now!  Blogging has been a great way to keep track of my favorite clothing, style and trends.  I am having such a great time blogging and thank you so much to all of my readers!  I thought I would take some pictures from my favorite posts from the past year.  There are a bunch and I could go on, but these are just a few of my favorites.

The Black Keys Inspired Fashions "Psychotic Girl"

I have posted before about how I believe music inspires fashion.  The Black Keys are an amazing band that is currently inspiring me.  They have a 60's sound and drum beats, mixed with soul, blues, rock, briliant lyrics and guitar licks to elaborate and paint the picture of what is being told.  All of these blend together to create an eclectic mix of simply magical music.  I absolutely can fall in love and lose myself in there music and any music that can do that, is music for me.  Here are some outfits inspired by "The Black Keys" specifically the song "Pshychotic Girl," which I was listening to when I found these pictures.  I like the dark sound to it, and imagined a girl who was tough and pretty kick-butt.  She would probably rock some lace up boots, torn t-shirts and of course the ever daunting black trench coat, maybe even some cool jewelery, if necessary.  Here is the song below, it make more of an impact if you listen and look.  The clothes are all from Urban Outfitters!

Gold Eyeliner

Happy 330th post to me.  I can not believe I have been blogging for a year this December 6th, which is in two days!  I will come up with a fun over the year post.  Todays posts is all about gold.  I found this beautiful picture of gold make-up on a girls pinterest (so addicting) on facebook.  The picture is from www.refinery29.com and it is a super fun site to play on.  I do believe I am trying this make-up tomorrow, only a little lighter.  This would be a bit extreme.  Sorry for the short post today, but I do have an exam early in the morning.

Most Creative and Innovative Shoes

Last night I was just tired and still not feeling to good after work.  I came home and had to check my e-mail for school, when I saw an e-mail from a friend from work.  I was so excited to see it was all about shoes.  They are incredibly innovative (with a bit of humor to them) and so different from any shoes I have ever seen.  I have honestly looked at them way to many times, love them!! Wow, I can not wait until my exams are over!  I want my life back and to enjoy the holidays.  Sorry for not posting the past two days, unfortunatley I have a horrible cold or something worse, not sure really what it is, but I know it is not very plesant.  Anyway, a few days ago as I was looking through all of the wonderful things on style.com and I found the most adorable clutch in one of their gift guides.  The adorable smiley face clutch is $1,140 by Shana London.  I happened to go to Shanalondon.com, and look at her collections.  Her site is filled with diamonds and is actually quite a magical site.  Her loading screens are diamonds that sparkle, it is fabulous.  I really love her Swarvoski diamnond clutches, they are really tiny but absolutely beautiful.  I love all of her bags!
