If you have been following my blog for a little while, then you know that I love ad campaigns. Whether they are in a magazine or even a video, I am constantly posting them. I found the Lanvin Fall/ Winter 2011-2012 Ad Campaign on youtube and not only is the fashion amazing, but I found it quite hilarious. I love how the models are so serious as they dance to Pitbull. Oh Alber, you are so amazing and I love your dance skills. Seriously check him out at the end of the video, he is adorable. I think it is nice to see another side of high fashion or at least in another way. Do you love this video, or think it is lame? (I think you have to watch it through youtube, because of restrictions.)

Best Summer Movie Premier Gowns
What an absolutely crazy week. I have had so much homework, and it is only the second week of school. Well tonight since I finished most of my homework, I am going to see Harry Potter. I am so excited I have wanted to see it since opening night. On the note of movies, I found a group of gorgeous dresses on style.com, which were labeled "Blockbuster dresses." They are all of the dresses that stars and starlets wore to movie premiers. Here are some of my favorites, they are all really gorgeous dresses though!
Emma Watson in Bottega Veneta
Jaime King in Valentino
Zoe Saladana in Lanvin Resort
Anne Hathaway in Alexander McQueen
Hailey Steinfeld in Miu Miu

Hello Kitty Duct Tape
I woke up this morning to my mom giving me what she calls a prize; it is essentially the same thing as a present. She made me close my eyes and sat something round in my hand. I opened my eyes and saw a roll of Hello Kitty duct tape. I did not even know that it existed! I am so happy. The only question is, what do I make?

Clear Raincoat by Storets
I live on the east coast, not so close to the beach that I have to evacuate because of hurricane Irene, which everyone has probably heard about by now. We started getting hit in my area by the storm yesterday afternoon. It was not actually that bad in my area, though the coast got flooded a bit, and there was just a little storm damage. I thought today, as I was inspired by the storm, to post this fabulous little raincoat from storets.com. Seriously it is so cute! Good luck to all of you who have yet to endure the storm; especially you northern states who are not used to all the hurricanes.

Jimmy Choo and Chloe Moon Boots
I am a sucker for some killer shoes; what girl isn't? Yes, call it a confession, but I have always had a spot in my heart for a killer pair of moon boots. The name even sounds fun! I was reading and surfing the internet when I came across some Jimmy Choo and Chloe moon boots! Seriously, designer moon boots? Heck yes. Though they are a lot prettier than the typical nineties styled moon boots they are quite modern compared to some pairs I have seen. Jimmy Choo's moon boots are about $995 and Chloe's boots go for $525. Personally, I do not think that they are completely worth the hefty price tag, this comes from a bargain shopper though, so perhaps I may be mistaken. I personally like some Napoleon Dynamite moon boots, they are more my style. What do you think of the designer boots?

Andrea Kett
This is an etsy account and I love the art. The pictures are absolutely gorgeous, sexy, dark and mysterious and everything that I love about art and fashion. Andrea Kett sells mainly greeting cards, but I would still frame them and post them on my wall. She is an Irish artist but located in Manchester, U.K. I would be inspired if I lived there too. I absolutely love this art...a lot! This is the type of creepy yet sexy style I hope I can channel when I begin to sew a collection in two-ish years for my senior project.
$19.95 H&M Sweater
I have two post today. This one is super short. I just wanted to share this really cute sweater for $19.95 from H&M. It would not be flattering on me because I have curves, but still, the 60's flair is awesome. Who else is so excited that 60's is coming back.....again. Or did it ever leave?

Express $50 dress
I read an article about a week ago about "the most popular dress in Hollywood,"as OMG from yahoo.com explained it. I really like this dress. Personally, I would not wear it because stripes do not look good on me, but I would definitely have to try it on first. I love how each celebrity styled the dress so differently. What do you think of it? I also found on express.com that it comes in black and white.
I love how Zoe Saldana styled this dress, she looks like she stepped out of a magazine.
I got these pictures from yahoo.com under the "OMG" section. The bottom pictures website is at the bottom left. Sorry for another short post but school work awaits.

Scarlett Johansson in Roland Mouret
My first paper of the semester is now finished. I thought I would share that pointless information with all of you. I have had a ton of homework and just over all stuff to do, hence the lack of post yesterday. I am back though, no need to worry! I only have a short post because I still have work to do. I just had to share this Roland Mouret dress that Scarlett Johansson wore. I am all about shoulders. Before it was having bedazzeled shoulders or sparkly shoulders; now, it is all about these geometric styled fitted shoulders. I love them! What do you think, love it or hate it?

Mary Meyer for Shoe Market
I love homemade things, hence yesterdays post. Today is a post about Mary Meyer, who makes, yes that is hand-made shoes in Brooklyn. Not only are these shoes adorable, they are said to be comfortable and I am addicted to the print. I love the color and the shape of these shoes, they are nothing but perfect. Though, they are probably a little more than I would spend for a pair of shoes, I would say they are totally worth it! The first pair and the higher top oxford style are my favorite! marymeyerclothing.com
Sorry about the shorter posts this week, but at least I am still posting everyday, right? School and work has been, well.. a lot of work! Have a great weekend everyone!

Dewey Decimal Crafts (Tiny Crocheted Skulls)
Etsy accounts are just fun to explore. These little tiny crocheted skulls that I found on the Urban Outfitters blog, are adorable, creative and very innovative. Possibly many of you may think that they are morbid, but I like the freaky little skulls, they are cute. I can understand the higher price tag that goes with them, as the person who makes them is putting the money towards their masters degree; plus they look quite time consuming to make. Got to love the artsy folk! Dewey Decimal Crafts (Click on the link to check out more pictures or purchase some.)

I need a food blog to read! Any suggestions?
I guess I get straight to the point in the title, but I will elaborate some more. Today was my second fabulous day of school and I love it! I went to my english class and my teacher said that we need to find and follow a food blog. My group decided to go with a more personal styled blog about food. Does anyone have any suggestions?? I also love reading your fashion blogs and such so post those in my little comment box if you would like! Thank you again for reading you little fashionistas you!

CMYK Watches from May28th
I know I posted a few days ago about some awesome watches, and here are some more. These fabulous little splashes of color are from CMYK, which honestly, I have never heard of. I had to research CMYK to see more about them and found that it is a type of "subtractive color model, used in color printing." (click on the link to see what I mean.) I thought that it was interesting and very obvious where the label got their inspiration for these watches. You are welcome for that little bit of information.

Chloe Moretz in Christopher Kane
Wow! I have had the absolute busiest past few days. I begin school tomorrow at my dream college, the college that has the greatest fashion design program, the college I have wanted to attend forever (okay, maybe since I was 10 ish, but it seems like forever). I have been doing a lot of orientation and meetings in the past few days hence all the craziness of which I speak. I am nervous but above all just thrilled! My days will be getting a bit busier, so I will attempt to update as much as possible and share whatever I learn with all of you. I hope that everyone who is beginning school too, may have just a splendid time like I plan to have. In fashion news, I found a picture on people.com of Chloe Moretz wearing a skirt and top (though it looks like a dress) from Christopher Kane's collection that I posted a few days ago. Do you like it? I actually like this look on her, though I did express doubts in whether I liked the collection or not, this is good.

Isson Eyewear
Chic, geometric and modern (with a retro feel) are only a few ways to describe Isson's new eyewear line. I am a big fan of having a great pair of shoes and at least one pair of great sunglasses. Isson is the perfect pair of glasses for this season, they have fun colors, patterns and as previously stated great shape. Which pair is your favorite? There are also a lot more pictures and styles on Isson's website... isson.com

Zara Fall/Winter 2011
Reds, orange, khaki and everything else that I am planning on wearing in the fall is exactly what Zara's fall collection is. I love the great tailoring, fit and the little bit of 60's flair to the clothes. The guys jackets are quite great also and fitted perfectly. The song is called "young" by the Crystal Stilts, whom I adore.

Kristen Stewart on the Cover of W magazine
I was doing my usual daily browsing of the fashionable things on the internet, when I came across a picture of the cover of W magazine. I love the "Valley of the Dolls" inspired hair and make-up, but I did not know that this beautiful, stylish girl was Kristen Stewart. She is normally gorgeous, but this is a different side of her that is nice to see. I need to get this issue of W magazine, they always have the best photo shoots every month! I got these pictures from styleite.com, they were taken by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott who take beautiful yet seductive pictures.
She looks so different.

Giles Deacon for Nine West
Another post on a collaboration, I know. Giles, a man with fabulous taste in clothing, and amazing attention to detail has paired up with Nine West to bring high fashion at an affordable price. Now my rant begins. Personally Nine West is not my style, BUT recently I have noticed a change. When I was younger I used to think eeeww Nine West is for older business women (I was in elementary school in the 1997 ish time). I remember always seeing black oxfords with those horrible little tassels and a chunky but flat heel. Recently, I have been loving some Nine West shoes! This summer when they introduced their beautiful wedges, I could not believe this was the same company that had made me ill in past years as a child with all the corporate casual shoes. Nine West now has heels to die for; not to mention that pair of nude peep toe heels that I have been drooling over. I am happy that they are now designing with young and older women in mind, we all can be chic without looking...dare I say frumpy or advanced in our years. That said, I am quite happy that Nine West is doing collaborations, as several of their collaborations this far are fabulous. I love the use of color and different designs of shoes that they now offer.
Now on to Giles, who is Nine West's current collaboration. When I first read that Giles was pairing up with Nine West I definitely expected something quirky in a very fashion forward way; with some color but over all it would have a bit of an edge. I pretty much got what I expected, and that is not a bad thing. I have to say that I like the colorful flats and black flats; I think those would be quite fun to pair with an everyday outfit. (They remind me a bit of Halloween with the color combo and once again that is not a bad thing.) The bag is not my style, but it is functional and I love the character that Giles created, so Giles. Now to my favorites, those boots with the two strap buckles are to die for, seriously I would wear those everyday. They are simple but with a edge. The strappy heels are quite great too. I also love the charm bracelet, it is so cute, simple and matches the shoes and any outfit. Do you love it or still think it is a bit iffy?
(Pardon the huge pictures but I like to look at the stitching and such on shoes.) I got these pictures from ninewest.com.

Missoni for Target
I am attempting to deep breath and type properly as I hold back yelps and pathetic squeals of excitement. The title is correct, and surfaced last week leaving me wondering how did I not know this last week? Missoni always has beautiful clothes. I love how their clothes always have flow yet they are fitted, their beautiful knitwear (that they are known for), and those fabulous stripes or zig-zags The label has such a unique look that no one else could ever dream to copy. I am so excited that they are doing an affordable line at Target. The prices range from $7.99-$199.99, so I guess kind of cheap. The label will hit stores September 13 through October 22. Who else is excited? I got these pictures from... collegefashion.net nylonmag.com and huffingtonpost.com. What else can I say, I love fashion.
